Matthew 28:18-20a A disciple: “One who knows God personally and pursues Jesus passionately, modeling everything in their life after the character and priorities of Christ.” What should motivate us to obey the great commission? • The great commandment • The horror of hell • The beauty of Jesus How can we take the Great Commission seriously as individuals and as a church? 1. Preach the gospel at our worship gatherings 2. Pursue lives of radical obedience to Jesus 3. Prepare the members of our church 4. Partner with cross-cultural missionaries 5. Pray! (1) For gospel fruit in our midst (2) For God to raise up people at CF who will go to the nations to serve as missionaries (3) For God to use you to be on mission for Him! “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” “...And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
